Polytonality

Superimposition of multiple chords

Synfire supports the superimposition (layering) of multiple chords over each other. Although Harmony is a Global Parameter, it may consist of up to four layers, each of which can be assigned to a different instrument using the Layer parameter.

Layers are created and configured with the Progression Editor.
