Time

This parameter is used for film scoring.

Unlike all other parameters, the horizontal axis of Time is not measured in bars and beats, but absolute time. Cue markers therefore dynamically change position depending on Tempo. Which is the purpose. You place Cue Markers at absolute times in order to see where they occur in the music.

This allows you to fine-tune Tempo such that a particular beat in the song meets with a moment in time.

Properties

The parameter is Global and thus influences all instruments in the container.

Note: The time being displayed is measured from the beginning of the container in which the parameter is set. In order to avoid confusion when scoring for film, you should therefore set the Time parameter in the root container.
